Silver Lake, Los Angeles - The Hive Los Angeles hosts their first art show of 2014 for the Apiary Gallery Saturday 22nd, opening at 8pm, with a small hand selected group of Los Angeles artists. Originals works are featured from Afternoon, a collaborative book by L.A. artist Ashley Snow Macomber and musician Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, in addition to paintings, ceramics + mixed media by Trine Wejp-Olsen.

The show opens 8 pm on Saturday February 22nd with a beer and wine bar with all tips to be donated to a local animal rescue.
Local and very special guest DJs SILVERSUN PICKUPS will be playing tunes throughout the evening to accompany the new art and entertain the neighborhood.http://silversunpickups.com/
The Apiary gallery, within The Hive Los Angeles, displays local and fine art and will be having quarterly shows in 2014. Submissions are accepted within their website and local artists are encouraged to send in their portfolio work.
